Heat Treatments

We offer a large number of different heat treatments for stainless steels, steels and non-ferrous metals. The treatments are performed under controlled atmosphere in order to avoid or minimize discolorations or oxidations.

We use various measuring instruments for hardness testing
  • Micro hardness tester UHL VMHT:
    hardness testing according to Vickers: HV 0.01, 0.025, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 kg
  • Gnehm hardness tester:
    hardness testing in Rockwell HRA, HRC, and according to Vickers: HV5, HV10, HV30kg

A documented process recording on temperature, dwell time, processing time, cooling time of the various heat treatments is available on request.

In order to issue documented sectional images on the heat process, the parts have to be separated and warm-embedded. After that, the cut surface is ground and polished.
